Currently making her home in Orlando, Melissa has appeared with the Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Into the Woods (Little Red), A Little Night Music (Mrs. Segstrom), The Imaginary Invalid (Angelique) and the staged reading of the new musical Young Rube (Tillie); Mad Cow Theatre in Urinetown (Little Becky Two Shoes) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Hermia/First Fairy); the Orlando Cabaret Festival in It Was a Very Good Year 1925 and 1935; Orlando Repertory Theatre in the Regional Premiere of Kathy Lee Gifford’s Under the Bridge (Do-Gooder/Gypsy); and Secondstory Repertory in Godspell (Gilmer), The Glass Menagerie (Laura), and A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine (Nina). Melissa also performs with Sleuth’s Mystery Dinner Theatre and as Claire De Lune in Walt Disney World’s Hoop Dee Doo Revue.

Melissa also performed internationally in the musical revue To Russia With Love and The Fantasticks with the Moscow International Film School and the Poplar Pike Playhouse (Germantown, TN). The Playhouse’s production was the first performance of The Fantasticks in the former Soviet Union.

Melissa has trained with some of the nation’s finest teachers: Mary Jo Dugaw, Ann Evans and Dr. George Skipworth for voice; Jim Helsinger, Christopher Patrick Mullen and Johnny Lee Davenport for acting, and David Leong for stage combat. Look for her upcoming solo debut album Asleep on a Sunbeam soon to be released on an independent label. Melissa is currently pursuing an MFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Florida.
